In grade school, I knew nothing about baseball or football. If it wasn't
astronomy, chemistry, or electronics, I didn't want to talk about it.
(However, the rumors that I didn't know the meaning of the term World
Series were a little exaggerated.)
In high school, I had more mechanical pencils than Imelda Marcos had shoes.
But I did learn a little something about football, for self defense (protective
coloration).
In college, the sport of choice was soccer.
I only learned that because it was a required course.
My preferred studies were Hebrew, Greek, the Bible, and baroque organ.
Today, I mind-meld with machines all day, and go home to them at night.
My idea of a wild night on the town is to be overlooked when they lock up
the library.
If I actually had a life, would this page be here for you to read?
